Seifert Drug opened its doors on May 1st, 1978 and for the past thirty eight years, the town of Elkhart has seen its independent, locally-owned pharmacies fall one by one to the corporate big names. All except Seifert Drug! Yes! We're proudly Elkhart's only remaining locally owned and operated full service pharmacy!
Our most recent neighborhood pharmacist is Hass Hakim, who purchased Seifert Drug on March 1st, 2006, and since that time, he has maintained and strengthened the principles that have always made Seifert Drug a friendly, familiar and helpful pharmacy. Hass now brings this same dedication to Seifert Drug’s newly opened second pharmacy in Wakarusa.
